      Description

      Rediscover Lost Performance. Increased tire diameter following an upgrade can increase your Silverado's final drive ratio, causing slower acceleration and "hunting" between gears while at highway speed. Off-road performance can be severely impacted. Restore that lost performance and start enjoying your truck with this ring and pinion gear from Richmond.

      Built to Win. Richmond leverages generations of racing experience with the technology in this gear set. All steel is first-run, with no risks from recycled material. Heat-treating is carefully applied to achieve high strength and resiliency. Meets or exceeds GM factory specifications.

      Installation. Install requires mechanical skill and a good set of tools. Allow two hours for install, including fluid replacement. Richmond advises that this ring and pinion set requires cross pin model 836-80-0272-1, sold separately.

      Application. Fits 2007 through 2013 Chevrolet Silverado.

      Technical Note. Installation costs will vary, but a good rule of thumb is between $250 and $300. Be sure to work with a reliable shop that you trust for installations.
