      Description

      Boost the Performance. If you crave better performance on and off the pavement, installing the 4.10 Richmond Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Set with 8.5” or 8.6” ring gear diameters into your Silverado may be the optimal solution. The gear set gives your truck more power, boosting the torque to enable your modified vehicle to be better able to handle the lift and upsized tires while improving the overall gear ratio to 4.10.

      Excellent Quality. Richmond Gear provides a durable street gear differential ring and pinion set, thanks to the first-run steel that is heat treated to increase its strength. The racing-inspired gear set is the result of in-depth engineering. This ring and pinion set is made to last, with included warranty protection on the material and workmanship for 2 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

      Bolt On. The Richmond Gear set includes a rear ring gear and pinion gear. The fuss-free installation involves removing the existing gear set and properly cleaning the gear mounting surface to enable a flush mount. The bolt-on installation takes about 4 hours.

      Application. The Richmond 4.10 Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Set is designed for 2007 to 2013 Chevy Silverado trucks with 30 spline count and 8.5”/8.6” ring gear diameters.

      Technical Note. Installation costs will vary, but a good rule of thumb is between $250 and $300. Be sure to work with a reliable shop that you trust for installations.
