Hey guys, Justin with AmericanMuscle.com here with a quick breakdown and sound clips of the Roush Extreme axle-back exhaust system available for your 2005 to 2009 Mustang GT. Roush, of course, is synonymous with Mustangs, having created some pretty incredible turnkey specialty Mustangs, packing a ton of performance, for their big catalog of performance products aiming to make your Mustang look, sound and perform even better. Of course, sound is what we're talking about here today, guys. Roush has really planted their flag in the aftermarket exhaust world here with the Mustang and has really become a fan favorite as of late. As you guys just heard, the Extreme definitely lives up to its name as being a very aggressive axle-back available for your three valve powered GT, that is definitely going to turn some heads when installed. As for the pricing, guys, you're going to find this system to fall right in the middle of the road as far as aftermarket axle-backs are concerned for your '05 to '09 car. With all that out of the way guys, let's talk about how the Extreme gets its sound. As you can see on the surface here it's pretty obvious. That's because there's really no mufflers to speak of. Instead, Roush decided to use two straight through high flow resonators in place of those traditional mufflers to get that really deep throaty grunt. Of course, the best part is you're not going to have to worry about having any interior drone while cruising on the highway. Construction wise, you are going to be looking at two and a half inch aluminized steel tubing while those high flow resonators are three inch aluminized steel. The tips here are 304 grade stainless steel and they are done in Roush's flash chrome process that should help it maintain its good look for years to come. Because getting the Roush installed requires no modification whatsoever, it simply bolts on, you can expect to spend roughly an hour in the driveway using some basic hand tools, removing your factory axleback, and getting the new Roush installed in its place. If you guys are looking for an axleback to give your three valve a very aggressive tone from one of the leaders in Mustang performance, then be sure to check out the Extreme from Roush, available at your number one source for all things Mustang, AmericanMuscle.com.
