It is ideal for tough trucks and SUVs that require enhanced suspension capabilities for towing, hauling, or rugged terrain.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured with a nitro-carburized piston rod to resist corrosion and scuffing, this strut features a robust tri-tube body with a premium liquid metallic painted finish and a polyvinyl protective boot for durability. Double-welded stress loops and a sintered iron piston ensure structural integrity, while polyurethane bushings and a graphite-enhanced piston promote smooth operation.
Installation. This strut is a direct-fit design that can be installed without drilling, suitable for experienced DIYers or professionals. The installation process is straightforward and should be done carefully to maintain ride quality and performance.
Warranty. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, offering long-term confidence in quality and durability.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models with a 6-inch front lift using Rancho suspension systems. It is not compatible with strut tower spacers and should be used until depletion before switching to RS994832 struts.
