Description
Performance Control. The Rancho RS9000XL Shock provides enhanced suspension control with nine-position manual adjustability to adapt to both on-road and off-road driving conditions. It is engineered to improve handling, reduce fade, and increase vehicle stability during towing, hauling, or rugged terrain use, ensuring a smooth and confident ride.
Construction and Appearance. This shock absorber features a durable steel body with a nitro-carbide treated 18mm piston rod for superior wear resistance and corrosion protection. It incorporates a tri-tube design filled with all-weather fluid and is finished with a premium liquid metallic coating paired with a polyvinyl protective boot, guaranteeing long-lasting performance in extreme conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling, making it suitable for experienced DIY installers or professional technicians. The shock mounts with standard loop bushings and sleeves to existing vehicle mounting points.
Warranty. Comes with a limited lifetime warranty for peace of mind.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2004 to 2008 2WD Ford F-150 models with zero rear lift, recommended to be used until depletion before switching to the RS994285 model as per manufacturer guidelines.
