Door Sill Installation

1. Clean and dry the vehicle thoroughly.

2. The vehicle surface temperature must be a minimum of 10°C (50°F).

3. Apply rubbing alcohol to the clean towel and wipe down the entire boxed area shown in Figure 1 on the door. This will ensure proper adhesion to the vehicle. (Passenger side shown)

4. As shown in Figure 2, remove the red 3M backing from the front door sill

5. Align the door sill with the edge of the plastic step pad. IMPORTANT: Do not to allow the adhesive surface of the door sill to touch the vehicle prior to being in the correct location. To align, lower part into position at a 45° angle matching the radius of the door sill with the radius of the vehicle. See Figure 3.

6. Press door sill to the vehicle matching the radius of the door sill with the radius of the vehicle. Hold in position for 30 seconds to ensure proper adhesion. Remove protective film. See Figure 4 for proper alignment.

7. Repeat steps 3 - 5 for each door.
