Description
Performance Exhaust Enhancement. The PPE Performance DPF-Back Single Exhaust System with Polished Tip is designed to improve your truck’s exhaust efficiency by reducing restriction after the diesel particulate filter (DPF). This system optimizes exhaust flow, helping to lower exhaust gas temperatures and reduce backpressure, which supports faster turbocharger spool-up and enhanced engine performance.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high-quality 304 stainless steel, the system features a fully polished exhaust tip and mandrel-bent tubing for smooth airflow and durable corrosion resistance. Stainless steel band clamps withstand high temperatures, ensuring a long-lasting, visually striking finish that complements the vehicle’s appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no welding, although cutting of the factory exhaust past the DPF is necessary for 2007.5 to 2019 models. The system utilizes stainless steel clamps for secure assembly, making it a practical upgrade for enthusiasts.
Warranty. This exhaust system includes a one-year limited warranty.
Application. Fits Late 07.5-19 6.6L Duramax Sierra 2500 HD. Note that it does not fit the Crew Cab Long Bed configuration and requires exhaust cutting behind the DPF for 2011-2019 trucks.
