Extreme-Duty Pitman Arm. The PPE Extreme-Duty Forged Pitman Arm delivers enhanced steering performance for heavy-duty applications. Built to endure the demands of racing and off-road use, it offers reliable durability and precise handling. This upgrade is essential for maintaining dependable steering control under extreme load conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Made from forged steel to ensure maximum strength and longevity, the pitman arm features replaceable dual spherical bearings combined with a substantial 7/8” bolt for superior load management. Its rugged design is engineered to withstand high radial forces, with a finish that emphasizes durability suitable for harsh environments.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill. No drilling is typically necessary except when modifying the factory center link’s tapered perch to accommodate the 7/8” bolt. It fits directly onto three-slot-spline power steering boxes for straightforward installation.
Warranty. This product includes a 1-year limited warranty for added peace of mind.
