Well-Engineered Calipers. The high-strength calipers in this brake upgrade are thoroughly inspected for quality and safety. Each piece was pressure-tested to prevent leaks and ensure reliable performance. Moreover, it comes in a captivating, red, powder-coated finish for excellent resistance to rust, scratches, and chips. This coating also brings some distinctively stylish accents behind your wheels.
High-Strength and Rust-Resistant Rotors. PowerStop used heavy-duty G3000 iron castings for the rotors to ensure long-lasting durability. This superior construction can handle the most demanding conditions. Moreover, each rotor is furnished with a protective zinc coating that provides extra corrosion resistance, reinforces high-temperature strength, and sports a rust-free shine for added visual appeal.
Drilled Holes and Milled Slots. The rear rotors in this Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Kit are engineered with drill and slot patterns to extend pad and rotor life. This design combination dissipates heat faster while enhancing the aggressive looks of your truck’s wheels. Additionally, it facilitates strong bite, precise release, and high debris removal.
Sport Ceramic Brake Pads. The Z23 Evolution Sport Pads feature a premium carbon fiber/ceramic compound that has 20% more stopping power than any other leading brand. Engineered with outstanding thermal stability, these sport pads resist brake fade under much higher temperatures than comparable OEM brake pads. Made using OE positive mold technology, the Evolution Pads ensure a uniform friction density throughout the entire pad, which helps control noise and premature wear.
Low-Dust and Noise-Free Operations. These Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Pads are virtually noise-free, thanks to the integrated premium, rubberized shims. In addition, the powder-coated backing plates are highly corrosion-resistant and offer longer service life. Each pad was also manufactured using a low-dust formula to produce less brake dust than the stock pads.
Direct-Fit, Bolt-On Installation. Designed as a direct-fit upgrade, this Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Rotor, Pad, and Caliper Kit installs with no modifications required. All the necessary hardware is also included for a hassle-free installation process to your truck’s factory mounting locations.
Rear Upgrade Kit. This Z23 Evolution Sport Kit includes cross-drilled and slotted, 13.20-inch rear rotors. It also comes with rear ceramic brake pads and red calipers. In addition, this kit contains high-temperature, silicone lubricant and premium hardware needed to complete the installation.
Limited Warranty. PowerStop warrants to the original purchaser that this Rear Brake Kit will be free from factory defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 3 years or 36,000 miles of use from the purchase date, whichever occurs first.
