Description
Improved Braking Capacity. Upgrade your Chevrolet Silverado 1500’s braking mechanism by installing this PowerStop Z23 Evolution Sport 6-Lug Front Brake Rotor and Pad Kit. These rotors and pads are designed to deliver excellent stopping ability, thanks to the exceptional wet traction, efficient heat dissipation, high wear resistance, and clean pad surface contact during braking.
G3000 Metallurgy with Zinc Plating. These Front Rotors were manufactured by PowerStop using premium gray iron casting with remarkable strength and high heat capacity. These are fortified with a high-quality zinc plating for additional durability to resist rust and abrasion.
Drilled and Slotted. PowerStop engineered these rear rotors with drilled holes to provide superior cooling under the most extreme conditions. The precision-milled slots offer consistent contact between the rotor and pad, while significantly reducing harmonic resonance issues. This design combination also facilitates easy sweeping away of gases and dust for enhanced friction. Furthermore, the vented vanes help expel hot gasses more efficiently for enhanced braking performance.
Sport Ceramic Brake Pads. The Z23 Brake Pads using carbon fiber-infused ceramic for long-lasting durability. This construction is specifically designed to provide an aggressively powerful braking bite. Moreover, these pads have a higher degree of wear resistance and can withstand the high heat generated by intense and repeated braking.
Minimal Dust and Noise. The Evolution Sport Pads are furnished with noise-insulating rubberized shims that will ensure almost silent performance. In addition, these brake pads will produce less dust than stock pads. These pads resist rust and corrosion, ultimately extending the brake pads' lifespan, thanks to the powder-coated backing plate design.
Bolt-On Installation. Featuring a bolt-on design, this Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Rotor and Pad Kit installs with standard hand tools and moderate mechanical skills. It comes with the necessary hardware to complete the bolt-on installation that uses your truck’s factory mounting locations.
Front Kit. This Z23 Evolution Sport 6-Lug Rear Brake Rotor and Pad Kit includes 2 cross-drilled and slotted rear rotors and 2 pairs of ceramic rear brake pads. It also comes with a brake pad lubricant and all the hardware needed for installation.
Limited Warranty. PowerStop LLC warrants this product to be free from defects and poor workmanship for 3 years from the purchase date or 36,000 miles of use, whichever occurs first. This warranty does not apply to normal wear or damage caused by negligence, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal operations, or improper installation or service.
