They’re safer than many other brake shoes as the manufacturer ensures no asbestos or copper is used in production.
Quality Metals Throughout. PowerStop uses rugged steel in the construction of these brake shoes. They’re also covered with black powder coating to prevent rust and corrosion over time. The friction pads are semi-metallic and allow your brakes to engage faster when in use.
Professional Installation Suggested. Though these are direct replacement parts that use your stock parking shoe hardware, professional installation is recommended. Fitting these brake shoes requires you to remove your wheels and engage in some intricate hand tool work.
Variable Manufacturer’s Warranty. You receive a warranty with these brake shoes that covers you in cases of factory defects. It lasts for whichever expires first between 36,000 miles of driving or 3 years. The warranty only applies for street and recreational off-road use.
