Mounting easily on the interior of your tailgate, the lock connects to your rig's door locks, securing every time you lock your doors to keep your cargo safe and secure when you walk away from your truck.
Durable Build. The PowerGate tailgate lock is crafted with high-strength materials to guarantee long-lasting efficacy and impressive durability in the face of continued abuse. In fact, the lock comes with a stainless steel backing plate and a slide bolt with a nylon guide block, which are both manufactured with security in mind so that you can rest easy knowing that your belongings are protected. The lock also comes with superior wire ties and taps as well as a long wire harness, short wire harness, and relay loom, which allows the lock to directly connect to your electronic lock system, functioning conveniently with your existing keyless remote.
Installation. Set aside about 1 hour for the installation of this tailgate lock. Then, using basic mechanical skills and the included harnesses, relay loom, and wire taps and ties, secure the lock unit by completing the plug and play installation.
