By mounting on the inside of your tailgate and connecting to your rig's door locks, this convenient tailgate lock secures every time you lock your doors, ensuring your precious cargo is safe from sticky fingers.
Ideal Construction. Built from high-strength materials for long-lasting functionality and superior durability, the PowerGate tailgate lock is guaranteed to remain reliable in the face of serious abuse. With a stainless steel backing plate and a slide bolt with a nylon guide block, this lock is specifically constructed with security in mind, effectively protecting your belongings and giving you peace of mind. The lock also comes with a plug-and-play design with wire taps and ties, a short wire harness, a long wire harness, and a relay loom, all of which work to integrate the lock into your electronic lock system so that you can conveniently control it with your existing keyless remote.
Installation. Using the included wire harnesses, relay loom, and wire ties and taps, those with basic mechanical skills will be able to easily secure the lock unit. Simply set aside about 1 hour for the installation.
