Versatile Carrying Solution. The Overland Vehicle Systems Freedom Rack with Cross Bars is the truck bed rack for your Silverado 1500 that offers versatile carrying and hauling capabilities. Unlike a lot of racks on the market, this truck bed rack is fully adjustable vertically. This design allows you to carry longer loads on its cross-bars by allowing the cargo to extend over your roof. And if you need to reduce air drag, simply adjust the rack to a lower height. Additionally, this rack includes adjustable side bars that allow you to carry items like RotopaX containers. What’s more, if you need to haul larger cargo, simply remove the cross-bars and secure using the rack’s tie down points. All in all, this rack is perfect for work and leisure.
Robust Build Quality. This truck rack is constructed using aircraft-grade extruded aluminum featuring an exclusive T-slot design. This combination of advanced design and superior materials give this rack its characteristic mounting versatility as well as its durability. In fact, this rack offers a maximum dynamic load capacity of 450 pounds and a maximum static load capacity of 1,350 pounds. Additionally, its fixed sections are CNC welded for added rigidity and a clean look. Rounding out its construction is a stylish black powder coat finish that also improves corrosion resistance. Please note, does NOT include rails.
Straightforward Install Procedure. This Overland Freedom truck bed rack installs onto your bed rails using a unique mounting plate and clamping system. No drilling or other modifications to your truck are needed. Please note that some assembly is needed prior to installation.
