In addition, its dual-drilled design allows the use of both a 12 mm and a 14 mm set of studs. This makes it a more versatile option for a lot of Ford truck owners.
Surpasses OE Quality. While the Nitro Gear & Axle Dual-Drilled Axle Shaft follows the OE specifications for fitment, it definitely surpasses stock in terms of quality. This Nitro Axle Shaft is made from a stronger 1541H steel alloy with a tensile strength of up to 181,000 psi. With heat-treatment, the steel increases rigidity and strength making it the perfect off-road axle shaft replacement.
Professional Installation Suggested. Installing the Nitro Gear & Axle Dual-Drilled Axle Shaft will require special tools and equipment. This is why it’s recommended that you ask your mechanic to do the installation for you.
