High-Quality 8620 Steel Construction. The 8.5 in. & 8.6 in. Rear Ring Gear and Pinion are made from first-run, high-grade 8620 steel. This helps to guarantee the strength and durability of the gears. Additionally, precision-machining ensure a perfect fit for a hassle-free installation. Furthermore, computer-controlled heat-treatment improves the gears’ toughness and long-wearing characteristics.
Recommended Upgrade. The kit only contains the ring gear and pinion and purchasing a Motive Gear Differential Install Kit is highly recommended.
Professional Installation Recommended. Re-gearing the differential is a complex process. For the best results, installation by a professional mechanic is highly recommended.
