Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit with 3.42 gear ratio is specially designed to meet the needs of dedicated performance and off-road vehicles. The kit features extremely tough, high-performance gears that bring your truck to the next level. Additionally, the precise engineering of the gears make for a hassle-free installation that enthusiasts and mechanics love.

      8620 Steel Construction. The Performance gears are precision-machined from high-grade 8620 steel that gives the gear their outstanding performance, strength, and durability. Furthermore, a computer-controlled heat-treatment process improves the gears’ hardness for outstanding long-wearing characteristics.

      Recommended Upgrade. The kit only contains the ring gear and pinion and purchasing a Motive Gear Differential Install Kit is highly recommended.

      Professional Installation Recommended. For best results in re-gearing, it’s recommended that the installation is performed by a professional mechanic.

      Comes with 2-Years or 100,000 Miles Warranty. The Performance 8.5 in. & 8.6 in. Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is warranted to be free of defects in materials or workmanship. Exclusions will apply.
