Your engine oil will inevitably become contaminated with metal shavings due to the natural wear of its components. Unfortunately, these metal shavings can act as abrasives, causing premature wear to certain internal components. This engine oil drain plug features a powerful neodymium magnet built into its structure that effectively attracts and captures these metal particles. The result is a drastic decrease in the amount of these particles in your oil leading to keep your engine protected.
Solid Build Quality. This magnetic engine oil drain plug is precision machined from a billet of 6061 aluminum. This construction makes for a drain plug that’s extremely strong and will fit your engine like a factory replacement part. Its magnet is likewise machined from a solid neodymium magnet, offering a precise fit with the drain plug. A Dowty oil seal is then included with the plug to prevent leaks. Lastly, this oil drain plug receives a black powder coat finish with the Mishimoto logo printed on top for added style.
