It uses a powerful neodymium magnet, and even comes with a Dowty seal for leak prevention.

      Tough Build. To make this piece light yet solid, Mishimoto uses 6061 aluminum for the main piece, which is immune to rust and corrosion damage. The neodymium magnet is strong enough to attract the metal shavings in the engine oil, allowing owners to keep their engine safe. The surface has an attractive, black powder finish and the Mishimoto logo on the cap.

      Instant Installation. As an engine oil drain plug, this product needs no modification unless it somehow doesn’t fit your engine. It screws into your engine and will immediately start pulling any metal fragments towards the magnet. You can leave it there until it’s time for an oil change.
