Description
Capture Harmful Oil Vapor From the PCV and CCV Systems. One of the main enemies of any turbo-charged engine is oil blow-by: the process of oil being sucked through the PCV and CCV systems and into the intake, gumming up the intake valves and intake tract. Blow-by makes for a dirty engine and can significantly impact performance by diluting your F-150’s octane level and partially blocking intake ports. To address excess blow-by before it becomes an issue, consider installing this Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can.
How Does It Work? This kit installs inline in both the CCV and PCV systems, providing an oil separator that cools and compresses oil vapor into liquid oil so that it can be stored and drained at a later date. As a result, most oil vapor is pulled from the systems, ensuring that your F-150’s engine inhales only fresh, clean air.
Direct-Fit, Vehicle-Specific Kit. This dual catch can kit is engineered specifically for use on your F-150, including precisely-molded lines with factory-style fittings, a bolt-on mounting bracket, and a port for the factory pressure sensor for CEL-free operation.
Durable Construction. This kit is built to last, featuring heavy-duty 6061 T-6 billet aluminum catch cans with an anodized finish, premium hoses, factory-grade quick connectors, and a powder-coated steel mounting bracket.
Internal Baffles. The catch cans in this kit are baffled, preventing oil from sloshing about the can through hard turns or bumpy terrain.
