This intercooler upgrade efficiently decreases intake air temperatures by as much as 50-degrees Fahrenheit. Not only that, air volume and airflow is increased. This increased supply of cold air into your engine results in significant power gains.
Free-Flowing Design. The Mishimoto Black Performance Intercooler Kit with Polished Piping is specially designed to rapidly cool down intake air coming from your truck’s turbocharger more efficiently compared to stock. With this intercooler, you get an 88% increase in core size, a 66% increase in external fin surface area, and a 40% increase in core volume. This translates to a larger volume of air that’s cooled rapidly. Included air diversion plates funnel in outside air into the intercooler for rapid cooling. Free-flowing aluminum intercooler pipes replace your stock pipes further maximizing airflow. Finally, degradation-resistant exclusive DuraCore silicone couplers ensure your intercooler works optimally.
Rugged Aluminum Build Quality. The Mishimoto Black Performance Intercooler Kit with Polished Piping is constructed from rugged aluminum for strength and heat transfer characteristics. The intercooler is fully TIG-welded for added rigidity. Two of the intercooler pipes feature CNC-milled, quick-disconnect flange and IAT sensor housing for a precise fit. Finally, the intercooler is finished with a black powder coat, providing a nice contrast to the polished aluminum intercooler tubes.
Trouble-Free, No Mod Installation. The Mishimoto Black Performance Intercooler Kit with Polished Piping is engineered as a drop-in assembly using the factory intercooler location. No modifications are needed and all necessary mounting hardware is included for a trouble-free installation.
