Performance Handling. Max Trac has established a reputation for creating high quality parts for trucks, which is demonstrated with this Lowering Kit for your F-150. This Lowering Kit will lower your truck's center of gravity, which will reduce squat during acceleration and body rolls in the corners. The included twin tube 2200LL Gas Charged Rear Shocks provide a sportier handling dynamic, while providing a better response on the road. The result of this kit helps your truck to handle better than it did from the factory, while still maintaining a quality ride comfort.

Lowered Stance. Not only does this Mac Trac Lowering Kit improves the handling of your F-150, but it also improves the overall appearance. By lowering the ride height 2 inches in the front and 4 inches in the rear, except for the V6 and 5.0L models which provides an inch drop for the front and rear, it eliminates the tire to fender gap, for a more aggressive stance.

Direct Installation. The Lowering Kit comes with everything you need to lower the height of your F-150 quickly and easily. The rear axle flip kit is designed to work with the factory leaf springs, making sure it won't compromise the ride quality. The front lowering springs work with the stock struts to provide a closer feel to the factory setup. The 2200LL Rear Shocks replace the factory shocks for a stiffer application that prevents lowered trucks from bottoming out when the going gets rough.

Lifetime Warranty. Max Trac knows what it takes to build durable suspension and that quality is in performance, that's why they back their entire line of suspension with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Some exclusions apply, please see manufacturer warranty for full details.

Application. This Max Trac Lowering Kit is specifically designed to fit 2009 to 2013 F-150s equipped with two wheel drive (2WD) or four wheel drive (4WD). Does not fit SVT Raptors.

        Questions & Answers (1)

        1 Top Rated Question

2009 Ford F150 XL Standard Cab 4.6 V8 8' Box 1. Can I use my stock wheels and tires? 2. Will I need to get a front wheel alignment after installation? 3. Since I will be using my stock front shocks will I need a spring compressor for front installation?

        • The Max Trac Lowering Kit can be used with the stock wheels and tires, however to avoid rubbing, we do recommend aftermarket wheels. An alignment is required any time ride height is changed. A spring compressor is required for proper safe installation.
