Rear Suspension Shackles. The Max Trac 2-inch Rear Lowering Shackles are designed to adjust the rear ride height of compatible trucks. By replacing the factory shackles, these allow for either a 1.5 to 2 inch lift or lowering of the rear suspension, improving stance and handling. They are essential for achieving customized suspension geometry on specific truck models.

The kit includes self-tapping grease fittings, and bushings require manual application of synthetic or lithium grease for optimal performance and longevity.

Application. Specifically designed to fit the 1997-2003 Ford F-150 models and function as 1.5 to 2 inch lowering shackles on these trucks. Use of wheels wider than 9 inches or with less than 4.5 inches backspacing is not recommended and will void the manufacturer warranty.
