Description
Front Lowering Coil Springs. The Max Trac Front Lowering Coils provide a 2-inch drop designed to lower the front suspension of 2WD V6 Silverado 1500 trucks. These coils improve vehicle stance and handling by reducing front ride height and lowering the center of gravity. They are ideal for enthusiasts seeking a lowered look without compromising driving dynamics.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from hot wound steel, these coils are powder coated in grey to enhance durability and corrosion resistance. The robust steel construction ensures long-lasting performance in various driving conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward for those familiar with suspension components and requires shorter shocks (part #1300SL-1) for optimal results. No drilling is necessary, making this a relatively simple upgrade for professional installers.
Application. These coils are specifically engineered to fit 1999-2006 2WD V6 Silverado 1500 models, including the 2007 Classic variant. They are not recommended for use with wheels wider than 9 inches or wheels with less than 4.5 inches of backspacing to maintain warranty validity.
