      Purpose And Function. The Max Trac 1-Inch Rear Lowering Shackles are designed to alter the rear suspension height of compatible trucks by either lifting or lowering the vehicle by one inch. These shackles enable improved handling, towing capability, or aesthetic adjustments by changing the leaf spring mounting angle. They provide precise suspension modifications suited for specific vehicle applications.

      Construction And Appearance. Manufactured from robust steel, these shackles deliver durability and strength under heavy use. Featuring a grey powdercoat finish, they offer corrosion resistance and a clean, professional look. The kit includes self-tapping grease fittings, while bushings require lubrication with synthetic or lithium grease for best performance.

      Installation. Installation is moderately straightforward and suitable for those with mechanical experience. No drilling is required, as these shackles are designed to directly replace factory components on compatible vehicles.

      Application. Specifically fits 2019 to 2026 Silverado and Sierra 1500 models. These shackles are not compatible with GM 1500 trucks equipped with monoleaf spring suspensions and should be used with wheels no wider than nine inches with a minimum of 4.5 inches of backspacing to maintain manufacturer warranty coverage.
