And as far as lowering kits go, you can’t go wrong with the Max Trac 3-Inch Front/5-Inch Rear Lowering Kit. This lowering kit offers 3 inches of the front and 5 inches of rear drop to reduce your truck's center of gravity. The result is better corner handling and minimized risk of rollovers. What’s more, this kit is engineered to ensure your factory ride quality remains the same.
High-Quality Rear Max Trac Shock Absorbers. At the core of this lowering kit is a pair of high-quality Max Trac shock absorbers that ensure your suspension maintains its excellent ride quality. Each rear shock has a twin-tube pressurized nitrogen gas-charged design and a larger diameter piston, engineered to provide more precise damping and driving feel. Additionally, these shocks’ piston rods are chrome hardened for reliable durability.
High-Strength Steel Lowering Coil Springs. This kit also includes a pair of lowering springs. Made from high-grade spring steel, these components are engineered to augment your truck’s front suspension components, ensuring a smooth ride. Moreover, these springs are finished in Max Trac’s signature powder coating providing superior corrosion protection.
Rugged Aluminum Lowering Spindles. Providing your truck with the 3 inches of drop is a pair forged lowering spindles designed to help ensure factory handling is maintained. Additionally, these spindles feature an aircraft-grade aluminum construction before being precision-machined to its final form. The result is a pair of components that offer exceptional strength and maximum corrosion resistance while remaining lightweight.
Rear Flip Kit. Dropping your truck’s rear is accomplished by a rear flip kit. This flip kit provides rear drop by flipping your axle over your rear springs, without drastically altering your rear suspension geometry. What’s more, this kit features everything you need to perform this task including axle relocators, spring hangers, and all the necessary hardware.
Professional Installation Recommended. Some cutting and drilling may be needed to install certain components of this Max Trac lowering kit. You will also need to use a spring compressor, as well as have the expert-level mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient installation. If you are not that experienced with this type of installation, professional installation is recommended.
