Description
Better Ride Quality. The MaxTrac Front Shock for Stock Height features nitrogen gas charging, significantly improving ride performance and steering stability. It also utilizes low-friction oil, which is specifically formulated for the job. This shock absorber is an excellent addition to your vehicle's suspension system as it ensures the tires always stay in firm contact with the ground. Furthermore, the high-quality shock absorber catches the vibration caused by the vehicle in motion and filters them into a smoother and more comfortable ride.
Durable Construction. MaxTrac shock absorbers are made from high-quality steel. The piston rod is also hardened chrome plated for extra durability and resistance to heat and various chemicals. The overall construction is impressive and conveys longevity.
Twin-Tube Design. This shock absorber features a twin-tube internal design that is more affordable than the alternative and has a few extra benefits. The twin-tube gas-pressurized shocks are more economical for the gas used to prevent the fluid from foaming. Plus, you're guaranteed a much softer ride for daily driving.
Application. This front shock absorber replaces the factory built-in part for the 1997-2003 2WD Ford F-150.
Technical Notes. This shock is not recommended with wheels wider than 9 Inches or with wheels with less than 4.5 Inches of backspacing. Also, it is recommended to replace shocks in pairs.
Lifetime Limited Warranty. The product is backed by a lifetime limited warranty by the manufacturer and applies to the original purchaser only. The warranty covers the materials and quality of the workmanship. It excludes any damages caused by incorrect installation.
Installation Difficulty. The bolt-on system ensures a quick and straightforward installation. The use of hand tools is necessary. For best results, consider professional installation.
