Description
Engineered Transmission Support. The Make It Modular Coyote Swap Transmission Cross Member for 6R80; DIY Weld is designed to address mechanical challenges when installing the 6R80 transmission in a swap project. It relocates the transmission mount 3 inches rearward while maintaining proper height to ensure ideal fitment and alignment. This cross member supports the use of the stock transmission mount from later model F150s, making it a crucial component for seamless drivetrain integration.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from all steel with a tubular design, the cross member provides the necessary strength and durability for transmission support. The DIY weld/raw option ships ready to be shaped and welded by the installer, offering flexibility for custom installations.
Installation. Designed for straightforward installation with minimal modification. Welding is needed for the DIY option, but no drilling is required, simplifying integration into the existing chassis.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 2004-2008 F150 models, enabling users to effectively adapt the 6R80 transmission cross member location for Coyote or 6R80 swaps.
