      Description

      Universal Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; OEM Grade; 3-Inch is designed to reduce harmful emissions by converting exhaust gases into less harmful substances. It is intended for use as a replacement part in a wide variety of vehicles to help keep the check engine light off and maintain compliance with federal emissions standards. This catalytic converter ensures your vehicle runs cleanly and efficiently.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed from high-strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing with durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds, this catalytic converter features a clam-shell body with a stainless steel finish. The single laser fusion welds provide superior leak resistance, and the aluminized steel heat shield assists with thermal management. The component contains a ceramic substrate for effective catalytic performance.

      Installation. Installation requires welding as no clamps or hangers are included. The converter’s compact and lightweight design allows for placement in tight areas. Professional installation is recommended for best results.

      Warranty. This product includes an emissions warranty and a 5-year construction warranty.
