Description
Heavy-Duty Tie Rod Kit. The Kryptonite Products Death Grip Tie Rod Kit is engineered to provide exceptional steering strength and reliability for heavy-duty applications. It is designed for demanding environments including heavy towing, off-roading, and daily driving, ensuring precise and durable steering performance.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features a solid 1-1/4” hexagon steel body that resists bending under load, complemented by heat-treated chromoly nickel outer studs and all-steel inner ball sockets for superior durability. The components are finished with a black powder coat and laser engraving for enhanced corrosion resistance and a professional appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with bolt-on compatibility for factory-style center links. No drilling or major modifications are required for stock or lifted trucks; however, sway bar end link modification may be necessary in some lifted setups.
Warranty. This product includes a no-fine-print lifetime warranty covering manufacturer defects, premature wear, or breakage under normal use conditions.
Application. Specifically designed to fit the 2001-2010 Silverado 2500 HD models, ensuring exact fitment with factory-style center links. Not compatible with aftermarket drop center links.
