Parts Included:
(2) Raptor Cowl Mounts (Driver / Passenger)
1. Remove windshield wipers. Remove plastic cowl by using a fastener removal tool to remove the one plastic ‘Christmas Tree’ push rivet on each side of the cowl. Raise the hood and locate the (2) 10mm hinge bolts that attach to the top of the fender. Before removing the (2) bolts, please use a scribe or marker to notate the exact hinge location to ensure proper alignment when re-installing the bolts with the brackets. After marking, remove the (2) hinge bolts from one side of the truck.
2. Place some tape on the edge of the hood where the bracket will fit between hood and firewall. Feed the Cowl Mount Bracket in-between the hood / firewall of the truck and place on top of the hinge with KC logo facing outward. Begin tightening the bolts, align the hinge to your markings and then fully tighten.
3. Repeat steps 1-2 for the other side of vehicle. Replace plastic cowl, windshield wipers and mount your KC Lights of choice. Enjoy!
