    Eliminate Pedal Lag. When you are driving your F-150 on the highway and you need to speed up to pass the slower traffic, you may notice a delay between the time you step on the gas pedal and when you accelerate. This throttle response delay is caused due to the modern Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Technology, which is also known as Drive-By-Wire. If you're looking to eliminate the annoying delay and improve your driving experience, then JMS has exactly what you are looking for with their PedalMAX Drive By Wire Throttle Enhancement Device. The PedalMAX is designed to enhance the signal between the pedal and ECU, which in turns sends the signal to the throttle body to make it more sensitive, so you can accelerate quicker.

    Improves Power and Eliminates Turbo Lag. The JMS PedalMAX will not only eliminate pedal lag, but it will also enhance the throttle response, horsepower and torque in the low to mid RPM range. The PedalMAX is also ideal for eliminating turbo lag when accelerating, which is an issue for the F-150s equipped with a 2.7L or 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine.

    Maximum Throttle Response. Out of the box, the PedalMAX Throttle Enhancer is preset to provide maximum increase in throttle response. If you find the stock setting to be too aggressive for your driving needs, you can insert the supplied 4-pin RED de-sensitizing plug into the device. The RED de-sensitizing plug will reset throttle response to about 60% of the maximum setting. However, with the optional Remote Throttle Control Knob (part# BX-6999) you can adjust throttle response from 0% to 100% on the fly to match your specific driving style.

    Stackable. The JMS PedalMAX can be stacked or used in conjunction with other aftermarket OBD-II programmers and monitors. It is compatible with products from manufacturers such as SCT, DiabloSport, Edge, Superchips, Bully Dog, and Hypertech.

    Modern Electronics. The PedalMAX Drive By Wire Throttle Enhancement Device features JMS's exclusive state of the art digital technology housed in a proprietary sealed enclosure. The PedalMAX comes complete with plug and play wiring harness using OEM connectors for a quick installation.

    Easy Plug & Play Installation. The PedalMAX Throttle Enhancement Device simply connects to the factory stock pedal position sensor using an OEM style connector with no permanent modifications required. PedalMAX is 100% reversible making it warranty friendly.

    Application. This JMS PedalMAX Drive By Wire Throttle Enhancement Device is designed for use on all 2009-2017 F-150s, excluding 2017 EcoBoost Models.

    Application Note. Some early 2009 F-150 models may have a plug that is the same as the 2004-2008 model years. If you do, then you will need the JMS PedalMAX Drive By Wire Throttle Enhancement Device part# PX-5000-0510F.

    Technical Note. This device is not compatible on the 2017 model year equipped with the 2.7L EcoBoost, 3.5L EcoBoost or High Output 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engines. You would need JMS part# PX17FT instead.

      1968 F-100 Coyote conversion. With Pedal Max.

      Because of the ergonomics and seat height it is hard to keep a steady cruising speed. The throttle pedal has little spring tension and the throttle response is so quick I I am using the Pedal Max turned almost all the way down with the optional control. The truck with the control turned all the way up will roast the rear tires with a 3.50 Detroit Locker/4R70W and stock converter.

      Not worth the money!

      For a device that performs just one function, I wasn't impressed. I understand it doesn't add power, but I wasn't even sure if it was working when I installed it. I confirmed with the company that it was functioning properly. It's definitely not worth $289. It's going back as soon as I rip it out from under the dash. Perhaps I'll replace it with a programmer, at least it performs several functions and cost just a little more.

      Works just fine

      Recently purchased this item because I was tired of the throttle delay in my 2016 2.7 ecoboost F150. Very easy to install and didn’t even really need the instructions that came with the product. After installing it I took a test drive on both back roads and highway and noticed a significant difference that resulted in the original pedal lag being obsolete. At one point I got the RPMs down to roughly 1500 and step on the gas with very little pressure and the PedalMax worked like a champ with no delay.

      Works great

      I have 2012 f150 5.0 with tuner and cold air intake and i can tell the difference in throttle response, its faster and i don't have to push the petal as hard to keep my speed up.

      Jms pedalMax

      I have an 2011 Ford F-150 the acceleration had a slight delay when starting off and accelerating passing etc. the pedalMax is awesome!! So much improvement! Highly recommended

      Does Not Work

      I installed the PedalMAX following the instructions and using only the materials provided in the kit. It did not work and removed all throttle response. No matter what level of pressure used on the accelerator, there was ZERO throttle response. Terrible product with zero troubleshooting documentation or advice from JMS.
