JLT Ram Air Intake with Red Oiled Filter (04-08 5.4L F-150)

It's designed to bring more cool air into the engine and really ramp up its power production. This wide intake allows much more oxygen to get in, which helps each stroke of the engine produce more power overall.

Some Tuning Required. It's important to note that some custom tuning is required to make this JLT Performance Ram air intake work properly without doing damage to your truck. It makes a huge impact on power levels, but you have to take the time to calibrate your engine properly first which means adjusting the computer for it.

Wide Mouth Filter. The filter on this intake kit is very wide at 6" x 12" in size. It allows a massive amount of air to flow in to your engine and it effectively pulls all the gunk out of the air as it's moving by as well. The filter is heavily pleated cloth material that's oiled to capture particles effectively. It's washable and can be reused again and again as long as additional oil is added after each washing. THe filter features a set of screens as well to really ensure the most air flow possible.

Tough Construction. This JLT product is made from rugged plastic that holds up to hard use. It also features silicone reducers, and stainless steel clampes that resist corrosion effectively. It also comes with a rotomolded plastic heat shield that protects the filter and helps keep heat away from the incoming air as much as possible.

Fast Installation. Bolts are included to lock this intake into place. It does require some compute reprogramming, but can still be installed in just an hour or two without issue.

One Year Warranty. JLT offers a one year warranty on this cold air intake for protection and reliability.

Application. The JLT Ram Air Intake fits 2004-2008 Ford F-150s equipped with the 5.4L V8 engine.
