Description
Enhanced Torque and Throttle Response. These JBA 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers replace restrictive factory manifolds to boost low-end torque and throttle response. The mandrel-bent stainless-steel tubes optimize exhaust gas scavenging, improving engine efficiency and sound.
Quality Construction. Laser-cut flanges ensure perfect mating to the cylinder heads, and precision TIG welds provide durability under thermal cycling. The natural stainless finish can be coated with ceramic for additional heat management.
Installation. This product installs by removing the factory manifolds, positioning the headers with supplied gaskets and hardware, and torquing to factory specifications—basic hand tools and jack stands are all that’s needed.
Application. These JBA 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers; Natural fit 2003–2006 Silverado 2500 HD models equipped with the 6.0-liter engine and without an EGR system.
