Description
Higher Engine Power. The addition of these JBA 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers in Silver Ceramic will let your truck’s engine gain more power. Built with a non-restrictive 1-5/8-inch diameter primary tubing, these shorty headers enable the smooth exit of your vehicle’s toxic fumes. When exhaust gases can escape freely, more air becomes readily available for your engine’s combustion process. The improved exhaust flow and combustion allow your truck to receive maximum horsepower and torque.
Improves Exhaust Sound. If you’re not satisfied with your truck’s exhaust sound, these shorty headers can deliver a much better roar. When installed, your vehicle is guaranteed to deliver a louder exhaust tone than your stock assembly. And it’s all thanks to their non-restrictive and mandrel-bent tubing.
Stainless Steel Construction. To handle the harsh operating conditions of your truck’s exhaust system, these shorty headers are manufactured using stainless steel. This material is known for its excellent corrosion, chemical, and thermal resistance, allowing your new shorty headers to maintain their excellent shape and form. Plus, these components are applied with a silver ceramic coating to prevent rust and early deterioration.
Tuning Is Not Required. Once these shorty headers are installed, you don’t need to tune your truck’s ECU. However, JBA recommends that you perform a test drive to ensure the absence of leaks, vibrations, and loose hardware.
