Amplifying the amount of air that gets into your 2009-2010 F-150 via the intake, the Injen Power-Flow Polished Cold Air Intake helps to dress up your truck’s engine with a gleaming, sleek length of buffed aluminum at the same time. As a short ram air intake, this American-made part can be used on its own or as part of a supercharged engine setup. Torque shoots upward by +18 ft-lbs after installation, while horsepower rises by up to +13. Your truck will be able to do more, and you’ll also get better throttle response and a touch of improved fuel efficiency to please your pocketbook, too.

No Tune Required to Function. The engine doesn’t need any special aftermarket tune in order for the Injen Power-Flow Polished Cold Air Intake to work at 100% efficiency with either a stock or modded engine. The factory tune allows the CAI to offer its full performance and power output. Optional aftermarket tunes for other purposes will not alter the functionality of this part.

High Capacity, Fully-Filtering Element. Injen’s Power-Flow Cold Air Intakes make use of a special nanofiber filter which also incorporates layers of surgical cotton. Fully washable and reusable, the filter elements are dry, so you needn’t concern yourself with the trouble and possible problems of re-oiling them after cleaning. The nanofiber eliminates 80% of 1-micron contaminants and 100% of 3-micron particles.

Aluminum Intake, CNC Parts. American-made with patriotic pride, the Injen Power-Flow Polished Cold Air Intake centers around a high-flow, unrestricted mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum intake tube. This tube adds to the aesthetics of your truck’s engine compartment and is fully rust-proof, defying most types of corrosion as well. The nanofiber filter is protected from engine heat by a black textured heat shield. Clamps and brackets are CNC-machined for an exact fit.

MAF Housing for 85mm Stock MAF. The intake tube of the Injen Power-Flow Polished Cold Air Intake is “necked down” at the point where the MAF housing is placed. This allows the MAF to function as normal without needing to be calibrated for the larger intake tube diameter. The housing is designed to accommodate the factory F-150 MAF.

Installation-Ready Part. Injen makes the Power-Flow Polished Cold Air Intake so that installation is easy and drill-free, using the existing mounting points. The part is supplied with the clamps, hardware, and instructions you need to install it using ordinary automotive hand tools.

Warranted for the Vehicle’s Lifetime. You need to mail in the warranty card supplied with the Injen Power-Flow Polished Cold Air Intake within 30 days of purchase to put it under warranty. Thereafter, the component is covered by a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer.

CARB EO Number Pending. Currently, this variant of the Injen Power-Flow Cold Air Intake is non CARB compliant. Accordingly, it is not street-legal in the entire state of California, or in any other area where CARB emissions rulings are in force. However, it is street-legal in most of the other 49 states, and may be usable in CARB regions for racing and other off-road applications. A CARB EO Number application is currently pending for this component.
