This Evolution Cold Air Intake facilitates the cooler, oxygen-rich air to fill your combustion chamber for an optimized air-fuel mixture. The resulting enhanced airflow delivers a significant increase in power, torque, and throttle response. This intake system consists of high-quality components: a roto-molded, 2-piece air box, a dyno-tuned intake tube, and a performance air filter.
No Tune Required. This Injen Evolution Cold Air Intake does not require reprogramming of your EcoBoost’s computer. With advanced engineering, this intake system boosts engine power using the factory tune. AmericanMuscle, however, still recommends a custom tune to reprogram your F-150’s computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Performance Air Filter. The air filter included in this Evolution Intake Kit is designed for an excellent filtration capacity with its 8-layer of progressively finer oiled, cotton media. It features a pleated style for efficient dust holding capacity, and an optimum size for enhanced air dynamics.
Premium Construction. This Injen Evolution intake system is built to withstand high mechanical impacts and elevated temperatures with its durable black cross-linked polyethylene housing construction. It delivers the most efficient airflow with its CAD-designed and rotational molded engineering. A built-in filter minder is also included for convenient filter monitoring.
Simple, Direct-Fit Installation. This Evolution Cold Air Intake is designed as a direct-fit replacement to your stock intake system. It reuses factory mounting points and installs in about an hour using basic hand tools. Injen’s 3D engineering ensures seamless OEM fitment as this intake system integrates perfectly well with your vehicle’s other components.
Lifetime Limited Warranty. This Evolution Cold Air Intake System, excluding the filter element, is backed by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship. The warranty is void if the warranty card is not returned to Injen Technology within the first 30 days of purchase. This warranty excludes incidental damages, cost of installation, or removal of the defective part or its replacement.
Not CARB Certified. This Injen Evolution Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified at this time and is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission regulations.
