Description
Improved Overall Dynamics. Elevate your EcoBoost’s performance by enhancing the airflow using this Injen Evolution Cold Air Intake with Oiled Filter. This intake system draws in a higher volume of oxygen-rich cold air for a more efficient combustion that generates better torque and increases horsepower. With the improved air-to-fuel ratio, the vehicle will also experience faster throttle response and improved fuel economy.
No Tune Required. Injen Technology designed this Evolution Cold Air Intake to operate using the factory tune without reprogramming the F-150 computer. AmericanMuscle, however, still recommends a custom tune to reprogram your F-150’s computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Premium Air Filter. This Evolution Intake Kit comes with an 8-layer, oiled air filter. The progressively finer cotton gauze has premium filtration capabilities, and the evenly-spaced pleats offer superior dust holding capacity. This filter, which is relatively larger than the other aftermarket air filters allows maximum airflow for enhanced air dynamics.
High-Quality Construction. This Evolution Cold Air Intake system features a CAD-designed, roto-molded, two-piece housing and intake tube made of black cross-linked polyethylene. This intake kit holds up well with time as it exhibits exceptional durability and high heat resistance. A filter minder is also conveniently included for easier filter inspection.
Simple, Bolt-On Installation. This Evolution Cold Air Intake is designed for a direct, bolt-on installation. It directly replaces your stock intake system and reuses the factory mounting points. The installation process takes about an hour using basic hand tools. Injen’s 3D engineering makes sure that this intake system integrates into your vehicle with a seamless OEM fit.
Lifetime Limited Warranty. Injen Technology provides a limited lifetime warranty for this Evolution Cold Air Intake System, excluding the filter, against defects in material and workmanship. The warranty is void if the warranty card is not returned to Injen Technology within the first 30 days of purchase. This warranty excludes incidental damages, cost of installation, or removal of the defective part or its replacement.
Not CARB Certified. This Injen Evolution Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified at this time and is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission regulations.
