Description
The Ultimate Shocks for the Ultimate Raptor. ICON Vehicle Dynamics has always been known for its extensive research and development when it comes to the suspension components it produces. The 3.0 Performance Suspension System - Stage 1 is the result of that R&D, and we think you’ll agree that after months of testing on the SVT Raptor, it was worth the wait.
What’s Up Front. The 3.0 front coil over shock is a true full 3” piston and has robust features such as digressive rebound and flutter stack compression. This combination gives amazing control, fantastic response, and ride performance that will astound you. To get the additional control needed for serious off-road use, ICON Vehicle Dynamics added an additional internal hydraulic system (essentially like an externally mounted hydraulic bumpstop) that produces the extreme forces that are required during the last 40% of piston travel in order to retain control near bottom out. The independently-tuned multiple stages of compression and rebound maximize the performance of the Ford SVT Raptor front suspension. For owners who want to customize their ride settings, the front coil-over shocks are equipped with an external, easy-to-adjust Compression Damping Control Valve. This compression adjustment valve allows 10 high resolution settings, and those settings are effective throughout the entire stroke of the shock. Each setting truly gives a different ride feel from soft to firm.
What’s Out Back. The rear ZETA Ford SVT Raptor shocks are true 3.0” diameter, inside and out, three tube shock. Unlike any traditional bypass shock, each bypass valve has a unique port design and is individually tuned with a different spring rate to ensure superior performance through each zone of the shock’s travel. These bypass valves are engineered with dampened valve stops for quiet and precision operation, which means no clicking noises as you hit bumps or road chatter driving down the road. The true advantage of these shocks over competitors are the easy-to-adjust knobs and the replaceable bypass tubes. The easy-to-adjust high resolution do not require any tools for adjustment, and can be adjusted in seconds from soft off-road performance to firm on road manners. The replaceable bypass tubes that can even be swapped out during a standard rebuild if any damage were to occur, where a normal bypass shock body would need to be completely replaced, saving you hundreds of dollars.
