Offering dyno-proven gains of 28.8 Whp horsepower and 31.5 ft/lbs torque this intake provides guaranteed increases in torque, horsepower, and throttle response all while maintaining a safe air to fuel ratio.
No Tune Required. Designed to improve the power of your truck immediately, the Short Ram Cold Air Intake does not require a tune after installation. It also does not trigger the CEL light.
Superior Filter. The Short Ram Cold Air Intake comes with a HPS high-flow, washable and reusable, conical air filter that offers improvements in both surface area and dust capacity over stock. The oversize filter provides more airflow with less restriction and captures more dirt to increase its service life before cleaning (100,000 miles).
Heavy-Duty Construction. Featuring a heavy-duty, powdercoated steel heat shield that blocks out engine heat for optimal cooling, the Short Ram Cold Air Intake comes with a functional build. It also boasts 3.5-inch, lightweight, mandrel-bent aluminum alloy piping finished with a stylish blue powdercoat to optimize airflow, race-proven, reinforced silicone hoses, and industrial grade stainless steel T-clamps for guaranteed durability.
Installation. Installing this intake takes about 1 hour from start to finish. Those with basic mechanical skills will be able to easily use the installation guide to secure the intake.
