Simple No-Drill Installation. You can install the Silverado 1500 Receiver Hitch by yourself. To mount this part, you need to remove your spare tire and any existing factory hardware. You may be required to lift your vehicle for this installation, but no drilling or cutting is necessary. After you position the hitch, attach it to the factory openings using mounting hardware, which is sold separately.
