Premium Aftermarket Gears. G2 8.8 in. IFS Front Ring Gear and Pinion Kits are forged from tough 8620-grade triple alloy steel, a definite improvement from your OEM parts. These performance-level gears are machined to OEM specifications to ensure optimal tightness and clearance. Mating surfaces are lapped together to minimize friction that often causes premature wear and clunking axle noise.
Speedometer Correction. Please note that a change in your gear ratio affects the accuracy of your speedometer. Recalibrate the speedometer with a tuner to correct the readings.
Professional Installation Recommended. Any upgrade or replacement on your differential assembly requires mechanical expertise, the G2 Front Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is no exception. Follow the instructions on the manual carefully to prevent installation mistakes and mishandling.

Technical Note. Ford F-150 4x4 models require matching gear ratio on the front and rear axles. This prevents serious damage to your driveshaft and axles.
