Description
Factory-Style, Big-Screen Upgrade. This FordSync4 4 to 12-Inch Sync4 Touchscreen Upgrade Kit delivers a seamless move to a wide 12-inch panel while preserving the stock control experience. It retains the steering and button controls, features physical HVAC buttons, and carries a dark grey finish trim for an OEM look. Fits 2015-2020 Ford F-150 models with full-through center console, and requires the 17-character VIN for vehicle-specific programming to ensure proper feature configuration.
Construction and Appearance. Built around an OEM 12-inch screen and Sync4 APIM module, the kit surrounds the display with a matched dark grey finish trim for a cohesive, stock look. The bezel set, support trim, and dedicated left/right lower trim pieces align precisely for tight panel gaps, while the integrated physical HVAC interface preserves tactile control. The LVDS cord and harnessing are designed for clean routing, and the included vents complete a factory-accurate appearance.
Installation. Designed as a direct replacement, the system reuses factory locations for a clean bolt-in integration. The supplied wire harness simplifies connections, while the USB harness (optional for vehicles without a Pro-Trailer knob) and the audio controller (optional, gently used) support variant configurations. After mounting the bezel stack and screen, connect the Sync4 APIM, route the LVDS cord, and finalize with the top back bezel cover; a VIN-based programming step completes feature enablement and ensures proper operation of retained controls.
