      Description

      Filters out contaminants. Using a highly efficient re-engineered filter media, this Motorcraft Oil Filter offers increased dirt-collecting ability to capture more engine-harming particles. This Oil Filter will keep your F-150’s engine running clean and free of debris for top performance.

      Pressure Relief and Anti-drain Back Valves. This Ford Motorcraft Oil Filter was designed with a silicone anti-drain back valve that prevents dry starts by eliminating oil drain-back during engine shutdown. The internal pressure relief valve ensures a continuous supply of oil in the event the filter becomes clogged, as well as minimizing the chance of contaminated oil circulating back into the engine.

      Superior Construction. Ford Motorcraft manufactures their Oil Filter canisters from a thicker shell wall (compared to stock) for added strength and to provide puncture protection from road debris. The perforated steel center tube helps to prevent collapse under pressure. The canister housing also features a unique fluted design for easy grip during removal.

      Application. This Ford Motorcraft Oil Filter is designed to fit the 1997-2010 4.6L, 5.4L and the 2010-2014 6.2L Ford F-150 models.
