Description
Performance Exhaust Upgrade. The Flowtech 1-3/4-Inch Shorty Headers Black Painted provide a direct replacement designed to increase exhaust flow and throttle response for vehicles equipped with the 6.0L LS V8 engine. These headers improve exhaust velocity while maintaining factory-style fitment for enhanced engine performance.
Construction and Appearance. Made from heavy-duty 16-gauge mild steel with mandrel-bent tubing for consistent diameter and smooth exhaust flow, they feature a TIG-welded machined 3/8-inch flange ensuring a leak-free seal. Finished in durable high heat resistant satin black paint, these headers resist high-temperature wear and corrosion.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no cutting or welding required due to the OE style 2-1/2-inch collector flange. The included mounting hardware ensures a secure bolt-on fitment for both 2WD and 4WD vehicles.
Application. These headers are designed to fit select 2003-2013 GM trucks and SUVs with the 6.0L LS V8 engine, including Silverado 1500, Sierra 1500, Tahoe, Yukon, and other related models in both 2WD and 4WD configurations. Note that these headers are not CARB compliant and intended for off-road or racing use only.
