Universal Catalytic Converter. The Flowmaster 200 Series Catalytic Converter with 2-inch inlet and 2-inch outlet is designed to reduce harmful emissions for a wide range of universal applications. It is ideal for custom pre-OBDII racing projects and vintage vehicles not originally equipped with catalytic converters, providing a compliant "green" solution in most US states excluding California and those enforcing CARB regulations.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a durable 4-inch diameter spun stainless steel outer casing, this catalytic converter incorporates a high flow 200-cell metallic substrate engineered for severe-duty and high temperature conditions. The natural stainless steel finish offers corrosion resistance and longevity in demanding environments.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills. Slip-fit weld-on inlet and outlet connections allow for easy integration without drilling. Mounting hardware, gaskets, clamps, and hangers are not included and must be sourced separately.
Warranty. Backed by a 25,000-mile performance and emissions warranty, plus an additional 5-year/50,000-mile case warranty ensuring reliability and durability.
Application. Fits universal applications with some adaptation required. Not legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles or in California and other states adhering to CARB regulations.
