Construction and Appearance. This heat shield is fabricated from lightweight aluminum with a thickness of 0.031 inches, allowing it to dissipate heat efficiently. It features a natural finish and is pre-formed to fit the specified muffler models. The kit includes durable stainless steel muffler clamps and straps for secure attachment, ensuring long-lasting performance and corrosion resistance.

Installation. Installation is straightforward, as the heat shield is pre-formed to fit the 70 Series Big Block II mufflers and attaches easily using the included stainless steel straps. No drilling is required, although some adaptation may be necessary for a perfect fit depending on the muffler configuration.
