Description
Safer Way to Hook. The Factor 55 UltraHook has a closed shackle mount that is the first in the industry. Recovery operations can be dangerous, but this winch hook helps make these operations safer. The hook’s shackle pin mount is secured by a double-locking safety clasp for extra security. The UltraHook offers versatility as it can be used as a conventional open hook or shackle mount.
CNC Machined Aluminum. This UltraHook is built to be strong and durable. Made from CNC machined 7000 series military grade aluminum, this combo shackle mount/hook is extremely strong, but also lightweight. Its military spec gray hard anodized finish protects it from tarnishing and corrosion. This hook/mount also features integrated EPDM rubber pads that will protect the fairlead from damage from your rope or cable rubbing against it. The strong 5/8” diameter 641-4V Grade V titanium double shear pin is rated for a maximum load of 48,000 pounds. This hook is rated for loads of 16,000 pounds, while its hood throat opening has a maximum rating of 31,000 pounds.
