      Description

      Specialized Mount. A substantial, stalwart specialty winching product, the Factor 55 Splicer Shackle Mount (Red) is designed to convert your 1999-2024 Silverado's recovery winch from an unsafe hook system to a safe, strong closed system that uses screw pin shackles or D-rings. This Splicer Shackle Mount differs from other Factor 55 mounts by offering more shackle options – the large teardrop mounting opening can support the pin ends of 7/8" and 1" shackles, or the pin and bow ends of 3/4" standard shackles. Meant for synthetic ropes only, of up to 1/2" diameter, this shackle mount requires that they be spliced into place through a machined rope path that armors the rope against abrasion or cutting; a locking Brummel Splice or a Long Bury Splice is needed.

      Extremely Hardy. Built tough as nails for long service, the Factor 55 Splicer Shackle Mount is a lightweight 25 ounces thanks to its precision machined 6000 series military type aluminum build. Fairlead protection is offered by the rubber guard, made from EPDM synthetic rubber. This shackle mount is entirely American-made and is shipped with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

      Application. Any 1999-2024 Chevy Silverado 1500's recovery winch can make use of the Factor 55 Splicer Shackle Mount (Red).
