Description
Cover Your Recovery System. Your ProLink XXL shackle mount provides an invaluable recovery option for your 1997-2024 Ford F-150, not to mention all of your friends who end up getting stuck. That's why if you want your Hause or Roller fairlead winches to last as long as your ProLink, you're going to need the Factor 55 ProLink XXL Rubber Guard. With its durable construction and top-quality protection, both your shackle mount and your fairlead will be protected from scratches and other bumps and bruises the two might get from interacting on a regular basis.
Because Normal Design is for Quitters. The highest-quality EPDM rubber is used to manufacture this guard. EPDM rubber has the highest resistances to aging, cracking, UV damage, and so on while still being flexible and resilient.
Not Just the FlatLink. Yes, this rubber guard does fit the ProLink XXL, but it's also designed to fit the FlatLink shackle mount as well. With Factor 55, there's no such thing as a simple accessory.
Installation. Eight separate rubber barbs fit into the back of the ProLink XXL for a superior fit and secure placement. Wash the barbs with warm soapy water before applying for ease of installation, then push the rubber guard into place on the back of your shackle mount. The process should take minutes. Even then, this rubber guard is removable should you want to remove it, and can be reapplied multiple times without making the barbs less effective.
Application. The Factor 55 ProLink XXL Rubber Guard is designed to fit all 1997-2024 Ford F-150 models. More importantly, make sure you have either the ProLink XXL or the FlatLink shackle mounts by Factor 55 before purchasing.
